Well, here it is, yet another flavor of Nigerian scam - this one involves Real Estate. The scam email asks for a wide variety of personal information (in this case including marital status and religion!), and a deposit in order to see the house.

If you’re a reader of this blog I know you’ve probably taken this message to heart, so take this opportunity to tell your friends and family:

No matter how compelling, terrifying or pitiful someone’s request, don’t divulge personal information to people who you have not initiated an exchange with. In email, on websites (including Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn, etc.), in IM… just say no.
